Complicated Tooth Extraction
If a tooth has lost its integrity, broken, or is located under the gum; or if it poses anatomical challenges due to its proximity to the sinus, the neurovascular bundle in the lower jaw, or has roots with excessive curvature, a standard extraction procedure may not be feasible. In such cases, different surgical approaches are used, such as opening the gum, removing bone, and suturing the area post-extraction.
This procedure is classified as a complicated tooth extraction.
